FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers
Latest research has shown that coffee drinkers are less likely to suffer from any of the leading causes of women mortality: coronary heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, and diabetes.
Coffee, which is filled with antioxidants and vitamins such as riboflavin, magnesium, and potassium, can help alleviate stress, maintain a healthier heart, and minimize the risk of type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, liver disease, Parkinson’s disease, and cancer of the liver.
Like many other foods and nutrients, too much coffee, especially in the digestive tract, can create issues. Yet tests have shown that it is safe to drink up to four cups of 8 ounces of coffee a day. It shouldn’t be tough for coffee drinkers in the U.S. to adhere to those limits, because most drink only a cup of coffee per day.
Findings have showed that the lighter the coffee roast, the higher the amount of chlorogenic acid. This is important in terms of the possible health benefits, as greater antioxidant properties appear to be provided by the lighter roast, making them safer for the drinker.
To give coffee a more consistent taste, a darker roast is used, but if you want to assess the nuances of various coffees, choose a lighter roast. To retain unique flavors, opt for a medium roast. During brewing, medium roasted coffees tend to preserve flavors better.
The air and humidity must be isolated from coffee beans. Indeed the best storage containers are made of glass or glazed ceramic, which have the added advantage of easy cleaning. If glass is used, the container should be stored in a dark spot (if only because light is typically an accelerant to chemical processes theoretically). Regardless of the container, do not buy more whole-bean coffee than can be consumed in about a week to two weeks post-roast. Beans are often stale due to the loss of aromatic and volatile compounds, which happens continuously with carbon dioxide outgassing. The effects of freezing are disputed. Some feel that the freezing will destroy the coffee’s delicate tastes; it is less disputed that each time the jar is opened, moisture will condense on the cold beans.
